I’ve been practising Reiki on myself and others for over 15 years and it has been a constant comfort to me through the ups and downs of life.
Reiki is a gentle and nurturing form of energy healing that can help increase your sense of wellbeing, reduce stress and anxiety, allow you to relax deeply, create peace and calm and re-energise you to face life’s challenges and adventures.
Reiki first developed in Japan in the early 20th century by Buddhist monk Mikao Usui in which a practitioner’s hands are placed gently on or above the client’s body to facilitate the flow of universal energy with the aim of restoring balance on a mental, physical and emotional level. The recipient remains fully clothed and I aim to create in my practice a safe space for clients to completely relax, let go and experience peace and healing.
